was wondering what your favorite trap guns were/are it might be something you have now or maybe you gave up and wish you had it back, with all the shooters here with years of experience i'm sure there quite a few.

I've shot a limited no. of shotguns including a Remington 1100, Browning Citori and Beretta 686. Of these I would place the Beretta then the 1100.

Since your asking favourite Trap gun.

Well I loved my citori plus trap, ugly, heavy, rib rattled, shot like a dream. God I miss it.

That said favourite would have to be my friends high grade K-80 with unsingle barrel and soft touch stock with 1 oz. loads, you have to check the hull to see if the shell went off, no recoil and weirdly, less noise.

But nothing but ink balls at any distance. Awesome gun.

For just trap it would be my superx1 trap or remington 870 TB trap which was heavily modified in the 70's, with special stock, ported barrel, cones machined, etc

Got traditional sporting guns - but took this one to the club today - had a blast - did better than I thought I would with the ghost ring sights - not conducive to clays...

For trap my BT-99 with a 34 inch ported barrel is a clear favourite. Downside is that it only shoots once and I'm not fast enough to get a reload in for a double. For doubles I like my Citori trap.

Years back it was a Ljutic Mono gun..now when I shoot trap it is with a Sporting Clays gun. A 391 parallel target and a Browning XS Sporter.

Not trap but I enjoy and look forward to the 590 20" cylinder bore pump for skeet.
The 930 is sweet, but shooting 25's with the 590 is tippity tops in my books.

Huge grin factor, always fun :D

I'm with 3macs1 on a Winchester Super x-1 trap gun.

Picked this one up last year and just got out to shoot it this weekend after finally getting some recoil buffers to replace the original beaten up ones that were in it. Cleaned off a layer of dust and some carbon on the rings and good to go - Gorgeous gun with a 23 in my first round.

What a nice gun. My trap version is pretty also. They don't make them like this any more or with wood like that. I had quite a batch of them just 2 years ago but didnot need them all so sold some off on the EE. I just have three now.
I got all my parts from Bob B the original Mr. superx1 expert of the day and had him tweek two of my triggers . Not sure where to buy parts now since he passed. All mine were totally gone over so should be ok for another 100,000 rounds. take care
