What is wrong with my Remington 700?

Hey everyone, PRS noob here. I'm encountering some issues with my Remington 700, and am hoping for someone with more experience with the platform to point me in the right direction on getting it fixed.

I have a Remington 700 PCR receiver fitted with a McMillan stock and an Atlasworxs DBM. When I insert my MDT AICS magazine, it doesn't click into place. It's blocked from going further in by this chunk of metal from the receiver, above the back of the magwell. The magazine sits so low that the bolt just passes over the casing when I try to load it. Here are some pictures to show what's happening:

PIC 1: The casing sits below the bolt that it will not feed into the chamber.

PIC 2: You can see the back of the magazine touches the bottom of the receiver. This is the reason the magazine won't seat properly.

PIC 3: The bottom view of the magwell. Note how the back of the receiver sticks out compared to the magwell.

So, aside from the fact that the rifle isn't a Tikka or AI :p, can someone please point out the issue here, and what can I do here to have a reliable feeding system? Thanks in advance.

I only use Atlasworx in my remmies. The little piece metal that won't let the magazin go up high enough needs to filed down. I just file it down at 45 deg angle and also file the back of my mags at an angle if needed. This helps the mag slide in place. Now that your magazine clicked in position is too low means you would probably need to set the mag system deeper into the stock which can even be done with a dremel. If you had shortened the release catch you could also try get a new release catch with original length.

If you are stuck pop me an PM for my e-mail and I can try dig out pictures.

I sold the rifle a couple years ago and can no longer remember the brand of bottom metal but I had to inlet the stock to get the bottom metal to fit properly.

If the bolt doesn't even contact the cartridge then the entire bottom metal needs to be seated deeper in the stock.
