Title says it all, what are your prefferences towards triggers, brands, types, weights etc. and why?
I have a Kelby i'm quite happy with on one rifle but I've got a good source telling me he likes the jewell triggers. I'm working on collecting parts for the next rifle and I want the best.

I have used many over the years I had a few canjars that I likes very much,
Timney was okay, but for me the Jewell I have now is the best.

the best trigger

In my experince the jewel trigger set at 2lbs is the only trigger for me .
the only problem is that you will want to put a jewel on every accurate rifle that you have . you will not have any flinch problems. ( developed flinch shooting buddys 378 wby very harsh gun to shoot) The jewel will make you a better shooter . happy hunting

For aftermarket, I have 2 Timneys. One on a older Ruger M77, the other on my Mauser target rifle, happy with both applications. For factory triggers I like the Savage Accutrigger.

CG Millennium on my Millennium action. Set to lift the 3.5 lbs trigger weight.

Anshutz trigger at about 3 oz for another game

Canjar on a Witchita 3.5 lbs

Remington on a 40X 3.5 lbs

Thanks

Thanks for the input guys, keep it coming.
My current set up for the 6BR has a Kelby trigger set at 4 OZ, so i'm not really interested in something set in LBS.
And thanks RED but if i don't flinch shooting my 50 I don't think a 6 PPC will be an issue.
I like Obtunded's suggestion so far of the 1.5 oz Jewell BR trigger, gonna have to find more info on it and find out how and where to find one.

p.s. found an interesting write up on Jewell himself.

incase your interested.

I have a Rifle Basix in a Remington, Timneys on a Remington and 2 Rugers, and a Savage Accutrigger on a muzzleloader. The Timneys are like night and day compared to the older non-adjustable Rugers. I found my Timney (not the ultralight benchrest model) to be quite good on the Remington, but you can adjust the Reminton trigger to be just as good as the Timney for medium weights. The accutrigger is quite nice when set at minimum weight but I have yet to compare with the Timneys on a side by side comparison.
