I have a 590A1 mossberg shottie, and I have a hankering to mount a bright flashlight on it. I have had occasion to take out the shotgun several times after dark and found it to be less than comforting when I am trying to see in the dark to find a bear behind my cabin.
What kind of options do I have with all those fancy "tactical flashlights" out there, and what kind are easy to mount on a 590
and super bright??
I prefer to have one that doesn't "twist on" such as a maglite, but rather have a button to turn it off and on.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? What kind is good? where to purchase? do they need anything additional to mount it?
