What kind of Polish for SKS Bolt?

Just wondering what you guys would recommend ...When i first got my Russian SKS Rifle it had the BBQ paint on the Bolt well i got that all off but it still looks kind of dull so I was just wondering what you guys would recommend to shine it up..(short of buying another one of course.....lol)

Hey Fender...I spent many hours sanding the metal smooth and then used mothers mag wheel polish and a buffing wheel to make it look like chrome.

You can use paint stripper to remove all paint from the carrier then repolish t with 180,320,400 or 600 grit sandpaper. If the carrier is not too rough, you can start polishing with 220 grit. After polishing, wipe with a very lightly oiled patch, the carrier should stay nice.

if you dont want it too shiny then use a brass wire wheel in a grinder or a drill .

Thanks Guy's....That Bolt looks great Kingsar! Looks like i will be picking up some Sandpaper this Weekend and maybe some autosol.
