what kind of rifle is this for?

hey so my roomate has a bayonette and he was asking me if i knew what it went to. i have no idea but im sure someone on here will.

I think is from a French gras rifle.its called a Yataghan could be American too.

Looks like an Indian made reproduction of the US Zouave Remington Model 1863 bayonet. Poor quality leather scabbard is pretty much a give-away on those.
