What logbook to use???

Like you I went looking for a "Proper Logbook", found alot of sources on the net for military type sniper log books for about $30us and up with covers and other accesories. And they are very good if you are a military/police marksman. But for us average joe precision hobby shooters I have come to like a simple binder with sheets of looseleef paper. It gives you more room to write notes for that particular day, data on targets loads, weather anything you want. The biggest advantage is I can cut out the targets I shoot at and paste them in the book, plus I dont think It cost me any more than 2 bucks from the loonie plus store.;) :)

I'm with LRC on this one.
I use a binder, but I also have a MTM logbook that I used to use.

I also used to have a log set up on the computer, but that was a disasterous thing for me to try and do!!
Those that know me knpw that turning on the dnged thig is about as far as I can go without crashing something!!

I'm in the same position as the fellow up above, in that I'm wanting to keep a record of my shots (with a rifle I just finished after owning it for over a year).

What kind of information do you keep in one of these? Pasting your target in sounds good, and obvious stuff like ammo type/load. What else though?

How about number of shots that day, adjustments made, temperature, wind or is that a waste of time?
