What mags will the new XCR .308 use?

What kind of mags will the new XCR .308 use. Does anyone know or heard yet. thanks

It is supposed to take M14 magazines, they were originally hoping to go with the FN FAL's.

They apparently have built a prototype, and the ETA is supposed to be this time next year ... don't hold your breath for that date considering how long the 5.56 version is taking.

If your going to all the trouble of desinging a brand new rifle and you cheap out by using an mag old system, it could be a bad news.

I love my m14(M305) but I agreed that the mag system is lacking. I wish I could just slide the mag up like on the a15.

I noticed that this thread is 5 years old and had to bump it up. What mags for the 308 xcr? Any update on availablity?
