Though I'm close to satisfying most of my milsurp urges, the lack of a Long Branch #4mk1* in my collection still urks me, and I know of at least one rifle that's still in restorable condition that I could pick up. I just recently bought a decent looking 1903 Turk from Epps for $100 plus tax and shipping (they were nice enough to drop $25 off the price when the transfer would not go through that day), and I'm always on the lookout for the ever rarer opportunity to buy decent but inexpensive milsurps when they show up.
I'm currently in search of more stable employment, and thus not actively seeking new guns at this time unless I come across a really nice deal. If I get something more steady in the near future, I might however consider buying a laminate M44 or some other Mosin varient from Tradeex, as well as add a Finn Mosin to the collection. I do keep my eyes out for milsurps that some older shooters might want to sell, but since I've gotten a few friends to take their PAL and hunting course, I'd probably hook those people up with a seller unless they have something rare or unusual. I've been collecting milsurps for the past 10-15 years with little opportunity to shoot them, and now that I have regular access to a range I'm not too zealous to buy any more unless something new or different shows up from overseas.
