EVERYTHING, as long as it is not butchered. I usually look for cheapos. so far i have gotten most of my guns locally through the classifieds :D
 
One of everything I can afford. I am more of a shooter than a collector so my millsurps must shoot well. My prize millsurp is a minty k43. I to do not mind making up or searching for hard to get millsurp brass,bullets and dies.
 
I find I like something to like about all of them. If it smells of linseed or is coated in shellac, I am in. I do especialy like the older ones though. There is something special about an object that was made on steam power machines deivered on horseback but is still made better than a newer one.

I got rid of my mauser and I've been concentrating on enfields and nagants, but of late I have decided no more enfields are going into the locker (there just isn't room) unless I get it for cheap.

Lately I've been buying service revolvers :)
 
I want a bubba'd Enfield (the bubba'd versions are a part of our Canadian heritage), a Ross (non-bubba), a Mauser 98 ('cause they're pretty) and maybe an SVT-40 (or maybe Nagant) sniper version. Otherwise, I find modern military weapons much more interesting
 
WW2 for me, any country that was involved and I don't care if they fought or were just pilaged.

I have pretty well "filled" up the WW2 collection to my likings and am in the "replace with better example", "buy it 'cause the price is too good to pass up" or "that is a nice WW1 piece and , well WW2 is just a continuation of WW1" stages.

I prefer to shoot bolt actions.
 
I buy them if there's a "theme" to them.
Example: I have a Rashid; that Egyptian 7,62x39 rifle is derived from the Ljungman, so I also NEED a nice Ljungman and a Hakim, which is the Egyptian 8mm Mauser offspring of the Ljungman and the Rashid's bigger brother.
Then, because I have a Rashid, I ought to also have at least one each of all the representants of that family of semi-auto only carbines in that caliber, let's say a Czech VZ-52/57, a Russian SKS, a Yugo M-59, a Chinese SKS (if a Sino-soviet, the better), an Albanian for the odd one, maybe.
Now, since I already have a Swede M-38 to go along with the Ljungman, I guess it'll be appropriate to also have a nice sample of a Swedish M-96, no?

As for Mosins, since they are like snowflakes (there's not two alike, they say), I made myself a promise: only Finn ones! Not even a Polish M-44, lest I'm doomed to total financial bankrupcy in a few years from now!
A good thing I heard, though: it seems Mosins tend to multiply like rabbits if left alone in a quiet place... :D
