This is the magazine:

A Savage 1919 NRA.
Probably an early one - later ones were marked as 19's. Made from 1919 to 1933. It should have double firing pins and an adjustable trigger.
Serial number will be stamped on the back edge of the receiver.

I've never seen a rear sight like that on a gun or in the literature. I'd assume not original.
They are usually excellent shooters - they were high end guns at the time, about 3X the price of normal .22's.
They are not expensive guns - mine were all under $200 in good condition. Hard to put a price on that one. Original rear sights are very hard to find and so are good magazines. And then there is the broken stock.

That rifle has an interesting history. It's release goaded Winchester into getting off their collective duffs, and getting the G 22 R into existence- later to become the Model 52.

I've got a pic of a 1932 model 19 in one of my books, and the peep on that one comes close to what's pictured here. Not an exact ringer, but close.

I'd be interested in how your rifle shoots with some modern quality target fodder. Nice lookin rifle to my eye, and nice wood, even if it is cracked.
