What muzzle device?

What muzzle device do you use on your threaded rimfire barrel?

^^^ Do you have any plans to make a few more of the 80%'s?
Or in your opinion would a LeVang type work better?

Also, how did you go about cleaning the white particulate out of the muzzle? I would assume that this is the stuff you would want to be very careful about inhaling.

If I can get them, I will finish them.

I am not sure which one will work better, the A2-based one or the LeVang.

I didn't take any chances with the white poison.
I used gloves and solvent. No compressed air.

I convinced Dlask to bring in and re-work (modify) few LeVangs.
They were very hard to find, but finaly they came.

The modified one looks like this:

It has .920" outside, so they blend in with the 10/22 bbl.

I have to say that looks quite a bit better than the A2-based one. Though in this case, ease of cleaning and functionality would be more important than looks. Looks like you could clean the LeVang fairly easily with swabs and solvent.

Here's a pic you may find interesting. The new Mossberg Plink$ter (I'm not making that name up!). This muzzle break, as ludicrous as it is, looks like it would spit gasses back towards the shooter. I really wouldn't want to be shooting next to the guy who had one of these....:D

well , if the inside is the same like it comes from DPMS, then it works exactly like a Levang that has been not modified . And then the black rifle shooters will take advantage and buy them before the rimfire shooters will have a chance to even discover this little gem . And you said you would bring this for the rimfire guys . So?

If you are afraid of the lead dust (and you should be), there are
compensators out there that direct the blast (and dust) forward.
Krinkov type devices (like Noveske) do that, and so many others.

The forgotten LeVang linear compensator is very good at that,
as many other linear comps.
I mention LeVang, because is the most known
and it is the work-horse of linear compensators.

This is the Dragon Head made by Black Hole Weaponry, it works after the same principles

Doctor is right. If you this is a must for any 22 semi.

The black rifle shooters (because usually they are more experienced) know
about the LeVang ever since it came around (more than 15 years).
If a black rifle shooter wanted one, he got it already, but yes, some of them
will buy it now from those intended to be for the rimfire guys.

Yes, I started this LeVang affair for the rimfire shooters who
were neglected for long time here in Canada and who, generally
need more support since they are new and young shooters.
However, now I do not have any control
over the affair of modified LeVangs,
but even if I could, I would not restrict sales towards any kind of shooters.

This a 12" barrel with thread protector
and the same barrel with the LeVang compensator:
