So, here I am at TSE this afternoon fondeling their demo R22 and hoping the waiting list is shorter than I know it is, and I got to wondering: What scope will I put on it? What are the rest of you guys putting on yours when you get them? What scope is possibly ###y enough to go on this $600 .22 rimfire godess of gopher doom?

hmm... don't know about optics, but I'm definately puttin Armedsasks' "tac light" on it. :|

:D

Looks nice! Thanks for the link.:D But the price seems unusually low for a scope that has the features and quality that they claim on their website. Do you have any experience with Mueller scopes?

I found this pic on Rhineland's site. The gopher wouldn't know what hit 'em.... Too bad I'll never be able to buy one in Canada.

But anyway.... had no one thought about scopes for their R22s yet?

I have borrowed a few rifles at the local range that have them, and talked to quite a few owners of these scopes who say good things about them. Buying one for myself is on my Firearmgoodies wish list.

Mind you I'm really holding out for a 'mil dot scope' for the shooting sports I'm into:

Keep in mind the prices on the page are USA prices. Compare with other USA scope companies an you will notice what I mean.

Hey methinks Armedsask needs to add one of these to his little rifle in the pic:

Then he could do away with the bulky light.
Isn't that wicked sick? hehehe.

Buy what... the silencer? It's a fake, notice the large exit hole. Lots to be had here in Canada. I got MFI to import a few about a year back, they were pricey, but looked sweeeeeeet.

... I never even noticed the oversized bore on that can. Thanks for pointing that out. I guess I need to look closer at pics before i post them. :?

You're right, they do look cool even if they don't do anything. Nothing I'd be willing to pay good money for though.

Looking at the Mueller Scopes selling on E-bay, they look to me like rebadged Tasco's.

Not 100% sure but if you look at some of them side by side they look pretty similar.

Wasn't there a link or another post somewhere that said standard rings would not work? I too was looking at the Marstar 3-9x40, and it currently comes with rings. Would they fit or would we have to get a riser as well? What about the basic Reddots or the holosights that Marstar have on their website? Would they fit? I haven't heard much good about the Marstar Holo sight...any comments?
