what paint to use on rilfe

I am looking at painting my 700 and have never paint one before and am not sure of what tpye of paint to use. any help I would like to paint it in a tan colour?

arma-coat it. I did mine and I it is great. Just had it bead blasted first and sprayed it on.

Then a clear coat if you want to make it permanent.

dose the hobby paint hold up againts all the chems and oiles used to clean? I have an air brush gun that I can spray with.

I repainted my McMillan stock because the guy I bought it from butchered it.I did a prep coat of aircraft impact resistant primer.Then I applied a couple of coats of RustOleum granite textured paint.When I get back to work next week I will seal it with another coat of the impact resistant primer. It takes 30 days to cure completely and its hard as nails.
