What parts of a semi-auto handgun are you legally allowed to sell now

Now, Everything but the registered frame

This. The only part of a handgun that is registered is the stripped frame (there are some exceptions like the ruger mk1 et al where the upper receiver is the registered part). The amendment to the regulation only prevents the issuing of new registration certificates. If it does not require a reg cert and is not a prohibited device then you are good to go.

If you were smart enough to buy a p320, you can buy everything, new FCU parts, new triggers, new grips, slides and barrels, pretty much endless opportunities as the serial number is in the housing of the fire control unit not any essential part itself.

I have non-matching-numbered surplus pistols with 2 or more numbers on the registration certificate. One is the number of the frame; the others are numbers that some bureaucrat found on other random parts. If I were to sell those random parts, it would be legal, but I can foresee all sorts of trouble trying to convince the authorities. btw, when I tried to transfer my collection before the "freeze", they said they couldn't transfer these. They didn't give a reason, but I suspect it was because they didn't know what to do with the extra numbers.

This is true. But these companies have done a terrible job of selling this feature where Sig has capitalized on exploiting this design feature from a marking and sales perspcetive.

True but they didn't compromise on the safety of their HG.

Meh, I don't know if that's any smarter. By the time people need a new frame, if they ever do at all, Turdy's next step will make all this a moot point anyways.
