I understand that the mass of their customer base is actually government. Modeling the attitudes of your (main) customer might be just a good business decision.

They recently called a store about a gun that was ordered two years ago - they were surprised when the store didn't still want it. Who the hell waits 2 years for a current production firearm.

Before I "discovered" internet shopping, I personally have waited for 18 months for a firearm...... Sometimes its hard to get that one particular thing in Canada.
