What Range Does the VZ 58 .223 Come Sighted In For?

Does the VZ 58 .223 rifle come sighted in or would I have to start from scratch and tune it up myself? How many yards do most owners prefer to keep them zeroed in at?

With a red-dot on mine, I zeroed at 100m. Without it, I adjusted the sights for what I was shooting for distance.

Hi Mine was on at 50m but it was a used one. Also it was with norinco non corrosive.

Rifles are not usually sighted in at the factory. They are just function fired for feeding, ignition, extraction and ejection.

When I get a new rifle, I put up a target at 25 yards and get it on paper, hitting about an inch or so low. Then I sight it in at 50 or 100 yards.
