What reasonably priced 28ga ammo for fur/feather?

What ammo are you using and where are you getting it?

Time to order/pickup a few flats.

Assuming that you meant precisely Upland/Small Game - 3/4oz loads of #6, #7 1/2 .....assorted variety i.e. Winchester AAHS Target, Remington, Challenger etc.

Epps, BassPro, LeBaron, Gagnon, Gobles etc are some among the major gunshops that carry 28ga shells. I'm sure that there are others in ON that do as well.

Remington Express 7 1/2 is my favourite load for partridge(ruffed grouse).If the price is right I buy what ever brand it happens to be.

Usually buy mine at hardware stores but again any where I can get a good price.

For ruffys I found that WIN AA Skeet loads work perfectly out of my 28if you want to use factory loads.

I like handloading however, because the cost gets cut way down for the 28.
I use 14.2 grains of longshot and a AA wad or a Ballist5icfcs Products SG-2811 and 15 grains with 3/4oz of shot.
