What Rifle in 2008?

What rifle do you see yourself getting in 2008?

Hopefully mine will be a Tikka T3 in .260 Remington.

ive got a new (to me) tikka m658 in a .270, but will be looking for a lever action, not sure what, maybe my uncles old .250 savage or a new marlin 45-70 gvn't. the .250 will be for doggin deer and the 45-70 will be for black bear and moose, what do you all think?

Remington 700 VSF

I will be getting Remmington 700 VSF in .308 very soon . I will be changing the original stock to Bell & Carlson model 2094 Green stock . Leupold 4.5-14X50mm VX III an other add on t give it a tactical look ...

Well the Remington LSS in 257 Weatherby is ordered with a 26" barrel and 1:10 ROT and the nice black pepper laminant stock. Can't wait for this one...the LSS holds 5 rounds while the CDL SF only holds 4 (FYI)

I looked over the CDL SF Limited in 260 Remington for 2008 and after looking over the spec's wasn't overly impressed other than the floor plate engraving. 1:10 ROT out of a fluted 24" tube. I'm thinking good for 120's but hows accuracy going to be with 140's ????

Remington dropped the 6mm Remington from their line up so might try and snag one of those in the VLS platform ...who knows?? Like I need one!

Remington isn't loading for the 257 Weatherby...looks like they are testing the waters with it this year....won't be surprised to see it gone next year.

Sako's in 260 Remington for 2008 are 1:8 ROT and are really attractive for those heavier 140's....Tikka appears to be sticking with 1:9 ROT.

Likely I'll snag a Marlin Guide Gun before Remington kills them!
