Remington 7600 .35 Whelen with a Leupold Vari-X III 1.5 x 5 with Heavy Duplex Cross Hairs, 225 Grain Barnse X Triple Shock Bullets in nickel plated cases at 2720 fps. Should be able to blow the souls right out of'em.

Number 2 will be the Browning A-Bolt II Composite Stalker in .270 Winchester with a Leupold Vari-X III 1.75 x 6. I'll be using 150 Grain Hornady Interlock bullets in front of 54 grains of IMR 4831

Ruger #1 .30-06, 150 gr. for whitetail, 180 gr. Barnes TSX for moose, and Traditions E-bolt .50 with 300gr. sst for muzzleloader season

Looks like my son and i have been invited on a cull hunt for buffalo.
I'ts not really hunting, but the ranch is big, and they take a certain amount of "hunting" so it won't be that bad, sort of like U-Pick for strawberries!

The kid will take his 6.5X284 with 160's for a smallish bull.
I'm taking my 45/70 highwall with a boatload of FFG and a 500 grain cast.

Marlin '95 Cowboy w/480 WFN GC @1865fps using AA2015br, leather lace-on recoil pad, DRC large loop lever, gloves, Tylenol!!

For the meat and gravy this year, I think:

.300 Weatherby Mark V Accumark Left hand, Free-floated Krieger Criterion 26" heavy contour barrel with longitudinal flutes, Nine locking lugs for 54 degree bolt lift, and probably 200 grain bear claw bullets.

Sorry, relatively new toy! Can’t wait to take it out for its third hunt!
