What rifle to "push bush"

I alternate between a Savage .308 DBM and a Marlin 336C. I have a Trijicon Accupoint 3-9X (red triangle BAC). If you can afford it Trijicon scopes are worth the money. They are meant to be used with both eyes open and find they are great for fast shooting. I only wish I had bought a 1-4X.

Next year I'm going to try my CZ-858 with open sights
