What rings and scope for keltec su16F with ar conversion kit?

I want to shoot 0-200 yards.

Something like the vortex viper pst 1-4x 24?

rings?

anyone tried it, did you need to remove the front iron sight?

or should I use higher see through rings and put a longer range scope on it? is that keltec any good to target 200 yards?

I'm not into the red dot thing, will probably put a spark on my ar, but I would like a variable power scope on my keltec to target a bit until I can afford a bolt 223.

I just recently played around with my su16 and came to the conclusion that by using a scope without a flared bell, ie: the x20 and x24mm objective scopes, I believe I can maintain a good close cheek weld and not have to remove it to clean the rifle.

But I won't know for certain until my vx2 1-4x20mm gets here, so this all could be a pipe dream

what about the burris PERP mount ? Id like to use the su16f as my target gun for now for 0-200 yards. I consider using a 4-16x vortex viper with perp mount on it. got ar conversion kit. would make a nice gun with 10 round mags.
