Hey there, I recently purchased a viper pst for my ERPR and I was wondering what ring to put on it. I realize skimping on rings renders the scope and rifle useless so I want to make a good decision on the mount.
Open to suggestion on whether separate rings or a one unit mount is ideal. I want to be able to shoot out to 600-1000 yards.
Height is another consideration as well as the store I am going through. They have vortex and luepold rings I can order/ choose from. So to stay within both those brands would be ideal. Apart of me things that I should put vortex rings on the vortex scope but on which exact model is unclear.
Like I said I want to buy once cry once. Hopefully keeping the price to around $200 Canadian maximum. I realize that may not be a very big window so if a few suggestions name a specific mount that is ascending to $300 dollars I will consider it
