what round would you prefer?

so if you had the option of chambering your old SVT, or Mosin in 7.62x54R , or 7.62x51 NATO , which would you prefer ? and why

i hear that 7.62 nato is a better round as far as accuracy goes

54R probably has more knock down power

One of the old timers I met up here shoots 308 Win in his old Mosin, I didn't believe until he actualy did it. I still think he is crazy and I was nowhere near the rifle when it went off but it did go bang not boom.

Edit: I would choose the rifle chambered in 308 Win, .308 is easier to find bullets than .311 or .312
