What Scope for a M14s?

I've had two different Leupolds, a Mark4 CQT 1-3 power and a Mark4 1.5-5 both worked great.

As previously stated about the lowest you want to go is a Bushnell 3200, but even then I'd rather have a used older leupold on my rifle instead.


I took all my bushnells off when I got my first nightforce and a couple of leupolds, when I was out shooting the switching back and forth to the bushnell scopes on a couple of rifles the difference was impossible to ignor and just became annoying.

I'd rather add to my gun collection than worry about glass, so the cheap old Tasco 3-9x40 promotion with the range bag works good on mine. Nothing fancy and it works.

I'm a handgun guy anyways so my rifle targets ain't worth posting with or without the scope but it does the job. Rifles for me are just for fun at the gravel pit or range anyways.

Did two jobs actually... 1) good enuff on the M14 for me and 2) more money saved for the coffee can for my next handgun.
