I am either going to Wholesale sports or Cabellas tommorrow to buy a scope for my 30-06. It will be my hunting gun and get some range time too. I was thinking 3X9. What is the best bang for the buck for around $300?
Thanks
J

Take a look at the Leupold VXI with LR reticle for $209.00, if they have any in stock. If not that, then I'd look at Redfields for around $200 or Burris Fullfield II's or a Bushnell 3200 or 4200 if they have them on clearance. All those should be under $300

x2 I have had nothing but good experiences with these "lower priced" scopes.

I'd buy a used Leupold off the EE.

If your not in a rush that's what I'd do.

Vortex has made a lot of inroads and some of them are lifetime guarantee which is nice if you need it.

I'd consider something with a lit reticle if you can find it.....it's nice to be able to turn on a dot in the center of the reticle if the light is low and you are shooting at a dark target!

Here's the Vortex VIP warranty Im not sure if this applies to all their scopes but it looks like if you have the VIP warranty and damage your scope they will replace it no questions asked.
