What scope mount is this?

It looks like a Russian Mosin PU scope, but I have no idea what the mount is.

Any ideas?
And any ideas where I could get the scope and mount?

I believe that the term "experimental" means "one-off"....

Considering there are all kinds of scope mounts for SKS rifles with cheap scopes for them...
PU scopes are a bit pricier.

I hear you on that...hey, why not get a better rifle than an SKS and avoid the quality issues altogether...

If the pic was transposed wouldn't the rifle be pointing in the other direction?

But then again you might be right, given the location of the sling attachment on the gas tube, and the receiver cover release lever seems to be on the other side.

Well I won't be doing this with my Swedish Mauser that's for sure.

Also I'm wondering if it is a German scope mount we are looking at?

Hmmm. Yup. Receiver cover pin, safety lever and the cocking knob(?) should all be on the right. Just me or does the safety appear to be on the left side (same side as the scope mount)?

Calum, when Lever Arms first brought in the 22rf Chinese mausers, built on anschutz clones, they had a similar mount and sight. The rifle I have has the side mounted dove tail for the scope mount but no mount. I remember there being an instruction booklet with pics and details of the mount and scopes available. You could try calling Lever Arms in Vancouver for more details and availability.
