what scope to put on a tikka t3 stainless

not sure what scope to put on my hunting rifle .caliber is 2506.i want it to be fairly light .variable .something like 2 to 7 or 3 to 9 .?..i was lookin at the leupolds.and the weaver v series scopes .any suggestions.
 
Either would work, I generally like Zeiss conquest 3x9x40's I have two. Great optics, lots of eye relief. I can't like the leupold standard duplex nor the heavy duplex.

Between the Leupold and the Weaver scopes I'd take a Leupold as my first choice. A matte finish VX-II 3-9x40mm would do well as an all round scope for hunting. 'Course if you're on a budget then a Bushnell Elite 3200 3-9x40mm would be a good choice, too.
 
I own 4 (four) Leupold 2x7s. I recommend them. The newer VXIIs are nice and would be perfect for your 25/06.

I also have a VXIII in 2.5x8 and it is a favourite as well.

I have a VXII 3X9X40 on my T-2 270 WSM.... seems like a good combo, and a very nice scope for a reasonable price.
 
I have a 3-9X50 leupold on my t3 in 300wm, and a 2-7x33 leupold on my t3 in 308

I have to say i prefer the 2-7 over the 3-9, its smaller and lighter, personal preference i guess.

I switched from bushnell to leupold a few years back, everyone has an opinion on what scope is best. Have a look through a few at your local shop and decide what you like.
