What scope would you recommend for a Ruger mini 30?

I have settled on a Ruger mini 30 for my next gun and I am going to install it into a Archangel Sparta stock which has the full length top picatinny rail.

My question is, what scope would you recommend for use with this gun for all around plinking? I am thinking I will use it out to around 100 yards with maybe some attempts at longer ranges (if the gun will do it).

Any suggestions for a solid scope that doesn't cost an arm and a leg? I'm hoping to keep the cost under 2 or 3 hundred dollars.

What do you guys suggest?

Lots of decent scopes in that price range.
Nikon, Burris, vortex, bushnell elite would all fall into your price range and suit your needs. I'm sure I've forgotten a few as well and others will be along to chime in but that should get you looking.

Check out the ee for a good used one if you want to snag a better one at midrange prices. There are deals to be found if you're not in a big hurry.
