What should be my next gun?

I'm starting to get the itch for another one. Right now I have a black Beretta 92FS which I use for IPSC, and a stainless Ruger Single Six that I use for Bulls eye at the club.

I'm trying to pin point what my next purchase should be. We do bulls eye once a week at the club, so I was thinking maybe a .22 semi auto, a good target gun, and then I was thinking maybe something in a .40 Cal would be a good choice. I like to keep my ammo costs down though being in school and all. What do you think?
 
I love my HighStandard .22 semi for shooting...cheap, super accurate and with those new 'splat/glow' targets I can see my shot placement. Helps keep me at the club longer as I can feed it decent ammo for alot less than my Colt .45

Price range is pretty much the same as the scoop on the ammo. I'd like to get something not too expensive. Ideally something around the 500$ range or so. Depends on what it is I guess.
 
The Ruger Mk III 22/45's are nice guns. At $310 from Wholesale they're a good buy. Cheap, realiable, and cheap to feed. The Mk III target models or the 5.5" barrel 22/45 might fit the accuracy requirement.
 
If you do not know what to buy, it is because you are not ready for any purchase !!! Wait until you try or see something that have appeal to you. If your Club does guns rental, try some different model before. This can guide you in one direction or the other. For cheap to shoot, .22LR cannot be beat. This is a start...
