what side

I ordered some parts for my cz858 but I am wondering what side would I punch the pin out for the lower hand guard? I guess say the right side would be the side with the Safety and the left with out. So do I punch from the left or the right?

It doesn't matter which side.

I've always found it easier to punch it out the same way the other pins go (from left to right).

AND DON'T USE IT AGAIN!
I hate the lower handguard pin that come with the rifle & replace it with a new roll pin right away.
