What Sights To Get For a HP9-1???

I have an HP9-1 comming next week with Hogue OM stock set and 6 shot sidesaddle
Now I know that the front bead sight is very prone to being blown straight off and I would like to know what to get for such a short barrel?
I've also been thinking of getting a reciever mounted picatinny rail, but don't any manufacturers.
I, as always, appreciate all info.

I've got XS Ghost ring and banded front site with tritium insert, both from TSE. It's a great setup. I've also got a picatinny mount custom made by Alberta Tactical Rifle (member here).

My 870; these pictures don't do a great job of showing the sights, but you get the idea:

Is that rear sight as crazy high as it looks on their website? What did the set cost you?

No - the height is about what you'd expect. The protective wings come up a bit highter than the ghost ring. I can't recall exactly what I paid for it, $150.00 ? Something like that. PM TSE JR or Redleg for pricing.
