What size freezer 2 deer + fish

Nope... I have a 27 cubic foot freezer that was completely filled with a bull moose... I'd say two deer are about 1/3 of that, so probably around 9 cubic feet...

Unless the "fish" is a 1200 pound halibut...

I don't worry about having too big of a freezer.
Whenever I have too much room in my freezer, I put in water jugs, to fill up the space.
And when the power goes out(which is often), my freezer stays cooler for longer.
Plus, I've got that much more spare water in reserve.

Depends on the size of the deer and how extensively you strip them. I would never buy less than a 10 cu.ft. freezer unless space was a serious issue, as trebor2880 says there really is no such thing as having too much freezer.

Get two small ones. They are easier to carry, you don't lose everything when a freezer breaks down, and you can switch one off when you eat down your food stocks.
