Hello folks, I just purchased a Burris 6.5 X 20 X 50mm with a 1" tube, on order. I get it next week. I'm going to put it on a Remington 700 SPS, 22-250 which already has Remington bases and rings on it. My previous scope was a Bushnell 5 X 16 X 40mm, which fit on the existing rings. My question is, do I need higher rings to fit the 50mm.
