what size rings?

i bought a Vortex Crossfire Riflescope 8-32x50 . while i wait for it, it is going on a rem 700. what height rings should i get? low, med?

I would say low is probably out of the question. Mediums might work but would probably be tight. Might have to go with high if you want some clerance.
