What the hell? Thunderbolt, Evolution, or both?

So I got to cleaning my Traditions ML the other day and notice it says "Evolution" on the barrel, and I'm thinking to myself "I didn't order an Evolution, I ordered the Thunderbolt....WTF?" So off I go to my SIR mailorder catalogue and look them up, sure enough they're 2 different rifles....now my question to you guys that own a Thunderbolt is does it say Evolution on the barrel, or did SIR screw up and send me an Evolution instead of a Thunderbolt?.....Clue me in! 8)

The Traditions Evolution has a 28" fluted barrel while the Thunderbolt has the shorter 26" barrel which is not fluted. The OAL on the Evolution is 45" and 43" on the Thunderbolt.
I believe the bolt is polished(Steel)on the Evolution versus just flat black on the Thunderbolt.
If they messed up you got quite a good deal.

yep by your description, they messed up!!! I have the polished bolt, just measured it and it 43" in TL. My barrel isn't fluted though, but is 28".....

Oh well, I'm not complaining about this screw up!!!
