Next week I'm heading to Las Vegas and I want to pick up a few parts for my new Ruger 10/22. What I'm wondering is if any of you 10/22 enthusiasts were headed down what would you bring back and why?

You can legally bring back cleaning supplies, slings, scope rings, cases, and that's about it. If it bolts to or is internal to a firearm, you cannot legally export it from the US. It doesn't matter what it costs or how small it is. No magazines or sights. Nadda. You cannot legally export from the US one single gun spring of screw or other part. Sucks yes but it is US ITAR law.

You sure as hell won't make it on the airplane with gun parts .Drop by "The Gun Store" and shoot the machine guns on Tropicana Ave............They have most everything..do Freemont St after dark ,the old part of Vegas but don't wander off the strip unless you always wanted to get mugged.....Harold http://thegunstorelasvegas.com/

Wow... I've been here a month, and I've already seen 1/2 a dozen threads like this.

Doesn't anyone (else) here browse or search ??? I found out quickly, here, that it's not a matter of "importing" gun-parts into Canada...

NO FIREARMS PARTS CAN LEAVE THE U.S. WITHOUT AN EXPORT PERMIT, period.

Capiche' ?
