Well seeing as Christmas has passed and my wife and I bought each other nothing because we spent on everyone else it's time for both of us to get our delayed Christmas presents. I've narrowed to down to a few choices but I'm still undecided so here they are:

CZ SP-01 & Norinco 1911 Commander - For pure fun:D :D currently leaning towards this option

Grand Power K100 & Norinco Commander - Nervous about K100 because of lack of parts/ reviews/ accessories although it sure looks sweet and appeats to be a fine pistol

CZ SP-01 or K100 & Taurus .22 revolver

CZ SP-01 or K100 & Ruger MKIII

I'm torn between these options. I'm leaning towards the CZ because it is a proven design. I love the thought of a .45 1911 with a big bang but a 22 would be more economical. Help Please!

Go with the CZ... they're sweet!
Accuarate, proven, reliable,... good value. 9mm factory ammo is cheap and
plentiful.
The real answer to your dilemma... get one of each!

I'd go with the CZ/1911 combo. 9mm is cheap to shoot and doesn't everyone need at least one 1911 ?

As for a .22, the Ruger Mark II or III would be my choice, .22 is so cheap to shoot that you will want to burn off as many rounds as possible in the shortest amount of time so semi auto is the way to go in my opinion. For the fun factor anyways....

Myself I find it very difficult to waste massive amounts of .22 with a revolver. :D Opinions vary.

I'm in the same boat as you...

just bought a nice hammerli for plinking 22 and getting a CZ SP-01 for more fun...

Since I like to shoot my guns, .45 is a little out of reach for my pocket...

I'd go with CZ over K100 but only if it's a sp-01 model...

Also consider Taurus PT99; another proven design in the same price range as CZ.

btw Taurus tracker .22 is nice gun and so is the Ruger...although Tracker looks and feels more like a 'real' gun.

Yeah what he said.:D :D :D Very good advice

I own a CZ in a 9mm and Ive never regretted buying it, a former vietnam war vet is a good friend of mine and he carried a browning high power in the war and said the CZ75 was as close to that high power he carried without calling it a high power. And as for accuracy you cant beat it for the price you pay.
Just my thoughts

SP-01 and a Norinco 1911 govt model... and instead of the ruger/taurus 22 you can get a 1911 22lr kit and shoot 22lr off your 1911.

I think the idea of the 1911 .22LR kit is a good one too. I've never had a .22LR revolver before. What's a good one to get?

A nice little 22 is a must. Every gun owner should have one. Mind you, so is a 1911. And a 9mm or some sort (for when the revolution comes). And probably a 38/357 for playing about with.
