Good day all,

I am looking at buying either a Kimber custom LE or an EA witness, of course both in .45. However, I am sitting on the fence on this, I don't know which to buy. I want something in .45 to add to my collection but I really don't know. I have read ther range report on Kimbers and I am impressed, however, I heard nothing but praise for the EA.:D Could someone who owns both give me a nunge in either direction.
Or dare I say is ther something else out there that is at par with either of these wpns?
All options are welcome, any info is good info, that ias if it helps me make up my mind.

All things being equal, I'm a Kimber fan. I love my Eclipse.

Do you want a bit of a show-piece, or will it be seeing a lot of shooting? If you're just looking for a shootable .45, I'd recomend the Glock 21. I love the look and feel of my Kimber, but when I'm just going blasting I usually grab the Glock. The polymer frame soaks up recoil like nothing else.

I have no experience with EA.

With Kimber, I think you can have after sale service back up here by the dealer, but I don't know if there are dealer of EAA here in Canada.

Trigun

IIRC, TSE is the Canadian warranty center for Kimber but I am not sure who, if anyone, does the warranty work for EAA here in Canada.

Oh, and I vote Kimber - great gun and well worth the extra coins :D

Same same

Okay so it is a Kimber that I am buying once I get back. Now I was thinking about th custom II but it was mentioned, the elcipse.
I was looking around, maybe I missed it. is there range reports for both Kimbers?
Can some one point me in the right direction?
As for the Glock coment, don't like them. The angle of the grip is too sharp. I like the feel of either a Baretta M frame or a Sig 226 or 229.
OR.... if someone could persuamde me to a M frame in .40......
Let's face it, I have another four months before I get back and I don't know what to buy. Sigh.
All I do know is I want to buy a good pistol and a M-305 to work on.
After that the sky is the limit. I'll have a good 30 grand in the bank and I'm going shopping!!!!
