You don't need a cordless sawzal a good meat saw from Home hardware works just fine but then again it's nice to have
If you plan on hunting out to 500 yards you should be practicing out to 600 or Evan 700 yards and do it of hand And still land a bullet in the Kil zone 100% of the time I can't do that and I grew up hunting in northern BC
I think everybody is just trying to encourage you to avoid those longshots unless you are well-equipped or willing to put in some backbreaking work
