Have the barrel set back and rechambered professionally. 260rem or 6.5 creed more.

- That overhanging front scope base kind of bugs me.
- Refinish the stock and have some nice checkering done.

If the guy doesn't want to reload? As others have said, just sell the thing.

The only thing I would do with that rifle is sand the stock down a bit and properly seal it to remove all of those open pours. The cartridge is terrific, just load for it and shoot it... better than 6.5x55, better than .260, certainly better than 6.5 Creedmore.
