My story, I buy a new uberti revolver from a local gun store, not working the way it should i return it for warranty. They put a new fireing pin, ok take it home try it for awhile seems ok than bang again same problem.{it,s like one of the primers are high on the case, when i pull the hammer back it sticks with factory ammo 38 special}. I go back they say the timing is off , back it goes to Toronto 2 months later i get it back . Works fine a few times at the range/ last week at cowboy shoot it scews up. Now the timing is so far off it hits the case and not the primer. A year has passed they have been fair to me. What to do with it now? Try a new gun smith? They will give me only half of what i payed for. My question is. Is there hope for this Uberti or is this a lemon that should be scrapped ? Thaks for listening age.

What kind of warranty is on it? Considering your problems started right away I would think it should still be under warranty. I'd tell them you want it replaced.

considering that the problems were there from the time tht you bought the gun and there still there i think they should make good and do something for you.

How do i get a hold of uberti? and they will probably tell me to take it to the dealer. Now another 2 months maybe i,m just wineing too much,i dont know. thanks `age

"...maybe I'm just whining too much..." Nope. You still have any paperwork from the shop(they an authorised Uberti dealer?) where you had all the work done? It's a paper trail to prove to Uberti all the problems it has given you.
Uberti warrantees are dealt with by Stoeger Industries. Any links for Stoeger Canada go right to Stoeger, Stateside. However, try the Canadian address first.

Thanks Sunray for all the info i will call them and hear what they have to say. All i have is a bill of sale, no paper work was given to me when i returned it for warranty.A big thumbs up and thanks to you guys for info. age

Sunray has given you excellent advice. I would follow it to the letter, and be firm in asserting that this is not a one-year-old problem, but has been there from the beginning and never rectified.

They will make it right.
Ted

I have dealt with the Canadian Stoeger centre and they were more than fair. As for paper trail, your dealer had to get paid somehow, they may have put in a claim with the Stoeger rep, so there may be a trail even if you don't see it.
Go to the end with this, it was defective from the start.

I had a High standard Victor that fired full auto when it felt like it.It was replaced no problem..............Harold

Stoeger Canada E-mailed me back, a said to return the pistol. I will let you know what happens. Thanks for all the help age
