Apart from post threads with more specific titles?

IMHO the days of economically de sprterizing are long gone. I have started selling off my LE parts rather than having them sit around doing nothing. Perhaps they will help someone else who needs them more than I.

Even though I don't have a plan to desporterize another LE anytime soon, I don't think I'd be able to resist a DYI de-sporterize kit with one of each thing I'd need. I can't be the only one

putting together batches of these as 'kits' would probably go over quite well for folks trying to un-f*ck a sporterized rifle.

Sometimes when you find Lee Enfield parts you run across a lot of one item. SMLE bands over 100, #4 extractors over 300 and SMLE rear nose nuts over 300. You have to laugh sometimes as you know you will never use them all. I’m at the point I am thinking of selling some of my parts and keeping what I am going to use.

well I cleaned out a lot of my spare bits but now I find myself needing the odd part, mostly barrel bands for various projects

other parts I can build on the lathe and milling machine.

re-building enfields is just not economical anymore.

neat looking collection of parts. But I don't see the little inserts that go into the side of the but stock. Where can one find these

LOL, it’s was still worth the gamble of clicking.

IMO, looks like you have lots of doubles. Sell off the extras.
As mentioned: you may be hoarding a part somebody is really looking for.

I’m the same way with Ross stuff. I buy all of it I come across. You never know when you’ll get a beautiful rifle with one defective part. With Rosses it seems common.
