Hello: I am a newbie here, just getting over a terrible sickness,had lyme disease 4.5 year battle ,got it working in the forest. Or on one of my hunting,trapping,fishing trips. Who knows.Now that iam starting to get some health back. I have thought of starting into the shooting sports .have bought a M-14, XCR 223 / 308 , M1A N.M. and a few other ones .I have searched looking for were one goes to do this, and came across the ORA ,so i sent away $50 to the address for a Intro day ,havent heard back anything after 2 months . Last few days i have come to hear, if there is one it will be in fall . Leaves me with a boring summer ..Is there any other place , a fella could go to shoot and meet like minded people,was hoping to get into distance shooting, at least over 100 yards .Any clubs i have researched have small shooting lanes .Any suggestions would be appreciated .Thanks in advance.
