what to look for in a good svt40

I have watched many youtube vids about them and some say best ever some say suck bad and others again say good but have to watch for this or that. I'm an newby to them so what do you guys say? please and thank you

They are a great rifle because of being somewhat simple, fun to shoot and historically significant. They can be a bad rifle because of being finicky and
not as accurate as some rifles. Look for at least a so-so bore and then learn to live with the finickiness, it just takes practice.
