what to look out for on a used berretta al 391

like the title says what are some things i should check when looking at 391's
such as common signs of abuse and misuse
parts that might need replacing or signs of wear
and general used gun buying tips
i will be using it solely for the clay target games with my main focus being on sporting clays
 
best source of info it to go to ww w.shotgunworld.com. scroll down to the beretta forum, there is a member there names seamus. Probably the best authority on the 391 series of shotguns. tons of posts and info there. he also sells a wicked tear down manual for these guns. I have an extra copy, if you buy a 391, let me know.

The part that seems to give the most problems is the shell carrier. Thanks to the Seamus manual, I had no problem putting a new recoil spring in the gun and a total disassemble and clean of the gas system.
