what to put on the end of a threaded barrel

i recently acquired another shorty dlask barrel for a 10/22. this one came without a thread protector. I don't want to go with a fake can and probably not a flash hider unless it actually serves a purpose? I guess what I'm asking is what are my other options? Its a sporter weight so no .920 accessories.

Flashlight to see in the dark? I tried a liner comp and the noise was still crazy loud compared to a 16+" barrel.
The weight and noise turned me into not being a fan.

If I was allowed to put 1 thing at the end of a threaded barrel on a .22 is a gem tech silencer but then I woke up and sadly it's only a dream

An oil filter, to be environmentally friendly and re use your cleaning solvents ;p

Also as said S&J has thread protectors, but you can also give Dlask a call.

you should look at comps, they are pretty!

here are 2 Dlasks, one 8.5 one..... 12? 10.5?
the longer one has the cap the shorter has the comp.

thanks guys i will place an order with s and j. I would go with a compensator if it was a bull barrel but it is only .750 at the muzzle

You'll be happy with the S & J protector for protecting & maintaining original appearance. If you decide to play around with the tacticool look some day, a used AR flash hider might share the same thread size, and would be fairly inexpensive on the EE. In any case, have fun & go Riders!

Screw on an oil filter to catch excess gun cleaning oil.
