Ever have this problem?

I’ve got a few guns in my cabinet I rarely shoot and want to sell off a few to raise money for a Ruger #1 but I’m having a hard time deciding what to get rid of. The trouble is that I get attached to the darn things once I get them, even if I hardly shoot them any more and I worry that I’ll regret selling them.

Below is a partial list. What would you get rid of?

French military trainer MAS 45 .22

Swede M38

Swede M96

Remington Model 700 243

1957 Remington 870 2 ¾

U.S. M17 Enfield 30-06

Mosin Nagant Model 91/30

Bubba's 303 Ross (My first rifle. I'm really attached to that one/got my 1st deer with it in 1970)

Well, there's lots of Remington 870's on the market, and quite a bit of 91/30's.

I would suggest you sell one of those, (or both) IMO they are the best bet in case you regret selling or come into some disposable income in the future, and wish to re-acquire.

(Edit) But it all depends on the history, provenance, and meaning of each firearm you have to YOU.

There is a more than adequate suppply of Remington 700s, 870s and Mosin-Nagants. The others you list are getting harder to find and prices continue to rise. Sell any or all of the first three I listed.

Since there are so many of them around, the nagant wouldnt be a hard one to give up. You do have two swede mausres too, so maybe part with one. I would rather not sell any if I was in your situation though. The MAs trainer is a rare bird, so dont even think about that one. Remington 700's are still easily available, so replacing it later on wouldnt be hard
