What tool is needed to change the pistol grip on my XCR

Gonna say the Americans can be so annoying. Just like the barrel bolt. I got lots of 6mm but no 1/4". Even Home Depot didn't have 1/4" T-handle hex. Had to order from eBay off American seller. SAE can be such a PITA.

Dont blame the Americans for that, blame us for going metric. I was in grade 10 when that happened and it screwed up my progress in math class for years. I never did fully grasp why we had to change to a European system. But I am old enough that I have lots of SAE tools to work with LOL.

I dont know if the xcr has them but when you change it out look out for the small pin and spring under the grip.

Get the slightly longer allen key in 5/32, I initially bought ones that were too short and had to exchange them for the longer ones. You putting on a MIAD?

Do not put the Magpul screw into your XCR. The provided screw is too large threaded. It'll go in a couple of threads and make a mess of them. Use the XCR's screw with lockwasher, despite what the magpul instructions say.

Good advice, use the original XCR bolt.

Thanks for the advice guys. I would have used the supplied bolt as per the instructions. Gonna put it on this afternoon after I go pick up a 5/32 allen key from somewhere.
