Well, I have a Glock g17 and a 48 coming. Ordered extra mags as well.
Now with this importing freeze coming, I'm considering ordering upgrades and accessories now, before stock is kaput.

My plans were to train for my black badge and possibly compete. (See how the world looks in Oct.)

I don't want to bedazzle my guns.

What are your must-haves for Glocks? What about a GSG 1911 22lr, and Girsan MC28 v2?

The only essential upgrade, IMO, is a set of good sights to replace the cheap plastic placeholder sights, assuming you didn’t order factory night sights.

Get trained! Take a course or 2.
Buy lots and lots of ammo. Get out and practice.
Compete in local / regional and national competitions!

Peace Be The Journey!

Unless you intend to shoot in formal competitions and it will affect the class you shoot in a 3 1/2 pound connector, 6 pound trigger spring and mid-weight striker spring combo will really improve the tirgger pull and make it much more pleasurable to shoot.

Go buy as much ammo as you can afford. shoot it all with the stock gun. Repeat. After that, you'll know if you would benefit from throwing parts money at a perfectly serviceable gun.

ZEV or Apex drop in trigger kit. #1 most important upgrade because glock triggers are almost as bad as FN 509 triggers. Then most people really like Trijicon HD night sights. Personally I really liked putting TruGlo TFX Pro sights on because they are tritium night sights that glow through fibre optic tubes during the day and have a nice bright orange outline on the front.
then maybe an extended slide release. Nothing else really.

Depending on how big Your hands are, trigger guard undercut. Upgrade the sights. Buy ammo and train to the Glock platform. I can shoot my Glocks as well as any “better” pistol, Just lots of practice. Now for Your Glock 48, stipple job or Talon grips. I personally feel like the grip is a little smooth.

I swapped out the trigger after reading a lot of comments on here. Ended up with light primer strikes on every mag. Tried several different springs with the after market triggers, none completely eliminated the issue. Switched back to the stock parts and have run flawlessly for thousands of rounds. Now I prefer the stock trigger because I am used to it.

I'm surprised the Recover Tactical charging handles aren't more popular. Besides that, the extended magazine release and a bit of grip tape and she's good to go.
(you can't see in this pic, but I did take to the right underside of the trigger guard with sand paper to round it out)
